The Mission Lamp |
||
![]() |
The Mission Lamp is an important introduction for
Glassmasters, just as it was for Tiffany himself. The colored glass is
more uniform, and the design is judiciously played out with the formation
of the many pieces of glass, creating an effect impossible to achieve
in any other manner. This lamp is an advanced example of the geometric
shade and is extraordinary in charm and grace. The glass is in the orange
hue, speckled with brown and intermingled with some white areas. In reflected
light, the shade casts a subtle green hue. This is important to decorators
since this design can serve to coordinate all the colors in a room. This
intriguing lamp appears subdued in daylight and dominates the scene after
dark.

Hanging Flower Lotus Lamp |
||
![]() |
Hanging Flower Lotus is a magnificent example
of the Tiffany genius. The original lamp has been in a private collection
in the United States since 1930. The variations of blues and mauves was
overseen by the master himself. Tiffany carefully chose the colors and
textures that emulate the radiance of nature and his personal aesthetics.
We're sorry
but the Lotus Lamp has been sold out.
